Background:

A confined space can be any space of an enclosed nature where there is a risk of death or serious injury from hazardous substances or dangerous conditions. A number of people are killed or seriously injured in confined spaces each year in the UK. This happens in a wide range of industries, from those involving complex plant to simple storage vessels. Those killed include not only people working in the confined space but those who try to rescue them without proper training and equipment.

Aims:

The course focuses on the actions needed to meet the requirements of The Confined Space regulations when entering a confined space that is free of hazardous gas at time of entry.

Who should attend:

Employers, employees, self employed who work in or control work activities in any type of confined space.

Course duration: 1 day.

Maximum number of delegates: 10 per course

Certification;

Candidates will be issued with a BLE certificate upon successful completion of written test and training course.
